If you have a peanut allergy (or just aren't fond of that peanut flavor), this is a great alternative to peanut oil. And like extra-virgin olive oil, it's cold-pressed rather than chemically processed. So while it may not have the highest smoke point ever (350 to 410 degrees F), it's a good unrefined option, if that's what you're looking for.
