I know choosing the right product is a bit tricky as you have hemp oil or CBD oil (containing real CBD) and you have Hempseed oil which might still be very rich in goodness but contain about zero CBD. It means it has a very different effect. I learned the hard way when I received the bottle. It says you have more than 200 mg hempseed oil per serving... while product with CBD would tell you the actual dose per serving which is around 16-20mg... so I am not arguing about the quality of the product just saying I was buying CBD to calm joint pains and I end up with a product rich in Omega’s but with zero CBD. Needless to say that I have tried but got zero result. Missleading in my opinion
I usually recommend that patients start with 15mg of CBD once or twice a day. This oil is best taken with food. Instead of self-prescribing, I strongly recommend you work with a practitioner knowledgeable in natural medicine who is experienced with CBD, especially if you are taking other medications and/or if you have mental health symptoms that could be severe.

My mother has dementia/Alzheimers along with a broken knee that they will not repair do to her mental status. She is currently in a nursing home. I firmly believe her mental situation began with the over use of hydrocodone for over 30 years and was acerbated by the trauma of breaking and disconnecting her knee cap. Since weaning her off of her meds (still in progress) we have regained much of her consciousness. I want to try CBD to help in her recovery or to help slow down the disease. I cannot find a dosage recommendation plus the nursing home/doctor does not recommend it. I would need to give it to her when I am there visiting (about 3 - 4 times per week). Hi Lauren I've just started today with 250mg cbd oil. I'm starting low to see what happens. I've nerve damage across buttocks from a laminectomy. I've not been able to sit for 5 years. It’s true that a preliminary study found hints that cannabinoids might reduce beta amyloid proteins in human brain cells, but the study was done in cells grown in a lab, not in people. But make no mistake, hemp oil and hemp oil with CBD (or CBD oil) are not the same. The hemp oil you might see on grocery store shelves is made by cold pressing hemp seeds. It’s high in omega-3 fatty acids and other beneficial fatty acids, but hemp oil found in the grocery store does not contain significant amounts of cannabinoids including THC or CBD. While hemp oil is a healthful option for a salad dressing, it has no medicinal value by itself.
Pros: This item is organic and produced in the USA. The appearance of the oil is very much like extra virgin olive oil, as it should be. It has a green shade indicating that it is full spectrum and unrefined. Nature’s Blueprint also added natural peppermint to make it more palatable. I think it tastes fine straight from the dropper, but it can also be added to a smoothie of some sort or maybe hot tea? I appreciate that it has a clear label for the supplement facts and dosing. If you ever buy something that doesn’t, I certainly wouldn’t take it.

Understanding CBD’s analgesic, or pain-relieving, interactions with the ECS can shed light on CBD’s other interactions and effects. Importantly, the ECS participates in our bodies’ pain processing, but when CBD is introduced to our ECS, it stops the body from absorbing a pain-regulating compound known as anandamide — one of our body’s’ own natural cannabinoid molecules. One study has revealed that CBD targets alpha-3 (α3) glycine receptors to suppress chronic pain and inflammation associated with dysfunctional glycine receptors, which are an important target for pain processing in the spine.
